What Claude Motion Brings to Your Team
Existing reports, dashboards and product walkthroughs become compact animated pieces that your colleagues can watch, download and pass along.
- Animation Assembled from Code, Not Stock FootageEvery clip is an artifact produced by the Motion template, meaning real code drives the words, graphs, shapes and pictures it contains.
- Edit a Single Detail Without Breaking the RestBecause the output is code, revising one number, label or timing point leaves the remaining scenes exactly as they were.
- Your Clips Land in Artifacts AutomaticallyFinished pieces are stored in the Artifacts tab, sitting alongside the rest of your saved work.
Three Steps to a Finished Claude Motion Clip
Follow a short three-stage path from your first prompt to a shareable animation.
Key Capabilities of Claude Motion
Templates, audience hints, your own source files and MP4 output — the essentials for explainers, data visuals and walkthroughs.
Begin with the Motion Template
Open the Artifacts tab, pick a Motion template and outline the clip you want to see.
State the Audience, Setting and Length
Mention who will watch, where it plays and how many seconds it should run, and the result comes back sharper.
Bring Your Own Reports, Data or Pictures
Upload a slide deck, spreadsheet or screen capture so the visuals are built from genuine material rather than guesswork.
Suited to Brief Explainer, Chart and Demo Clips
Compact formats work best — quarterly updates for staff, revenue graphics for leadership, sequential onboarding demos.
Download the Result as MP4
Once the piece looks right, the Export menu lets you store it as a standard MP4 file.
Private Until You Decide to Share
Fresh clips stay visible to you alone, sharing happens when you trigger it, and administrators control whether links can leave the company.
Claude Motion: Common Questions
Straight answers on plans, permissions, storage and export.
Which subscription tiers include Claude Motion, and does it start switched on?
It runs in beta for Team and Enterprise. Team accounts have it active from the start, while Enterprise keeps it dormant until an owner activates it.
How can an owner switch Claude Motion on or limit who gets it?
Availability lives under the Artifacts section of Organization settings. On Enterprise, owners can also narrow access to specific groups through custom roles.
Will Claude Motion produce lifelike people or real-world footage?
It does not. Words, graphs, shapes and pictures are animated as code, so nothing resembling filmed or human video appears.
Where do finished animations live once they are made?
Each one is kept in the Artifacts tab, which doubles as the place to kick off a fresh clip from the Motion template.
What is the route to download or share a completed clip?
Use Export followed by MP4 to keep a copy. Fresh clips remain private to you until you open one and press Share.
Do animations count against my plan's usage allowance?
They do. Animations use the same allowance as your other work, and heavier clips consume more than a single message would.
Put Claude Motion to Work on Your Next Clip
Head to a chat or the Artifacts tab, select the Motion template and spell out the explainer, chart or demo you need. On Enterprise, an owner may have to switch it on first.
