Built for Teams That Explain Things: Inside claudemotion
Every scene in claudemotion is composed from written instructions, letting type, charts, shapes and photos glide in sync.
- Animations Written as InstructionsEach claudemotion clip is composed from instructions rather than frames, so headlines, figures, charts and photos stay perfectly in step.
- No Footage Model Involvedclaudemotion has no footage engine underneath: you get moving text, charts, shapes and stills, never photoreal humans or filmed scenes.
- Tweak a Single DetailAdjust a number, a word or a timing cue and the rest of the claudemotion timeline holds its place — no rebuild required.
Three Steps From Idea to Finished Clip in claudemotion
A short brief, a motion template and an export — that is the whole workflow.
What claudemotion Brings to Your Workflow
Source-based briefs, conversational edits, hands-on controls and admin permissions — the pieces claudemotion adds to daily production.
Works From Your Own Files
Drop in the deck, spreadsheet or visuals claudemotion should use, then mention who is watching, where it plays and how long it should run.
Refine Through Conversation
Treat the chat as your timeline: request a calmer second scene or a corrected Q3 number, and claudemotion hands back a revised cut.
Take Manual Control
If you would rather drag, nudge and resize, the editor lets you adjust motion by hand instead of writing out a request.
Stored With the Rest of Your Work
Finished pieces land in the Artifacts tab alongside your decks, documents and dashboards, so nothing quietly disappears.
Admin Switches and Access Rules
Find the toggle in Organization settings > Artifacts: enabled for Team by default, disabled for Enterprise, where custom roles can restrict who gets in.
Consumes Plan Usage
Like other metered features, claudemotion draws on your plan allowance, and a long or busy animation uses more than a plain message.
claudemotion: Your Questions Answered
Short answers about availability, output style, storage and downloads.
Is claudemotion available on my plan?
It is still in beta. Team workspaces get it switched on automatically; Enterprise owners need to enable it under Organization settings > Artifacts.
Will claudemotion produce live-action footage?
No. Photoreal people and filmed scenes are outside its scope; the tool moves text, charts, shapes and stills instead.
Where can I find my finished clips?
All of them sit in the Artifacts tab, where you can reopen a piece and carry on editing.
Can I update a single figure without redoing the clip?
Yes — swap that one word, number or timing beat and the rest of the claudemotion animation stays exactly where it was.
What is the export and sharing flow?
Pick Export and then MP4 to save a file. New pieces begin private; Share is what lets other people watch.
Do these animations use up my plan allowance?
Yes. claudemotion is metered, and a lengthy or detail-heavy animation costs more than sending a normal message.
