An Animation Workflow Built on Your Own Content
Each Motion Claude animation is generated from the Motion template, so your reports, charts and images drive every scene instead of stock footage.
- Code-Driven Animation, Not a Video ModelScenes are assembled from the Motion template: text, charts, shapes and images are animated in code, so a single tweak leaves everything else untouched.
- Beta Rollout for Team and EnterpriseMotion Claude is in beta on Team and Enterprise plans — enabled by default for Team, and available to Enterprise once an owner switches it on.
- Creations Stored in the Artifacts TabEvery animation you make with Motion Claude is saved in the Artifacts tab, where you can reopen it, polish it later or share it with your organization.
Three Ways to Build an Animation with Motion Claude
Three routes from your own material to a finished Motion Claude animation, all inside the Artifacts workflow.
What Motion Claude Can Do
From scene changes requested in chat to clean MP4 export, Motion Claude keeps each animation editable, private by default and inside your plan's limits.
Scene Edits Through Chat
Request changes in the conversation — slow down the second scene or set the Q3 figure to 18% — and only that detail changes.
Direct Adjustments in the Editor
Want hands-on control? Open the animation in the editor and fine-tune timing, layout and details yourself.
MP4 Export in One Click
Click Export and choose MP4 to download the finished animation as a video file you can play anywhere.
Private by Default, Shared on Purpose
Animations are visible only to you at first; open one and click Share when it is ready for other people.
Usage Scales with Animation Complexity
Motion Claude counts toward your plan's usage limits, and longer or more complex animations use more than a typical message.
Owner Controls and Group-Level Access
Owners and Primary Owners can turn it on or off in Organization settings > Artifacts, and Enterprise roles can limit access to specific groups.
Motion Claude: Common Questions
Answers to common questions about how Motion Claude creates, stores, exports and shares animations.
Is Motion Claude powered by a video generation model?
No — it uses code to animate text, charts, shapes and images, and it does not create realistic footage or people.
What plans include Motion Claude?
Motion Claude is in beta for Team and Enterprise plans: enabled by default on Team and disabled by default on Enterprise.
How can an owner turn it on for an organization?
An owner goes to Organization settings > Artifacts and switches Motion on; Enterprise plans can also limit it to specific groups through custom roles.
Where are my finished animations stored?
All animations are kept in the Artifacts tab, where you can reopen any of them and continue refining.
Will Motion Claude use up my plan's limits?
Yes — it counts against the same limits as your other work, and longer or more complex animations consume more.
How can I download or share an animation when it is done?
Choose Export and select MP4 to download it, or open the animation and click Share to give other people access.
Create Your First Animation with Motion Claude
Ask Motion Claude for an animation in any conversation, or open the Artifacts tab and begin with the Motion template — then export an MP4 or share it. Enterprise owners need to enable Motion first in Organization settings > Artifacts.
